Product description
The coupé is a brass handle that was born from the basic idea of obtaining two handles by cutting a standard bar diagonally. Dodo Arslan, the designer of the innovative project created for Mandella1953, set himself the goal of creating a handle that minimizes material consumption and at the same time eliminates some stages of the traditional handle production process. Omitting the forming phase does not even require "deburring" the scrap, and the only surface that needs to be repaired is the cutting plane, which, apart from being flat, only accounts for 30% of the total surface. Moreover, by eliminating form constraints, you can obtain the DK version for windows and the long version for sliding doors without further investment. Mandelli1953 welcomed the project with enthusiasm and development was very rapid and economical, starting from standard formats and equipment. The Coupé is available in 3 versions (door, window and French door) and can be "personalized" with finishes, offering a wide range of possibilities to architects and interior designers.
