Product description

Pure 18295 is a one-piece "sylt" hook made of raw polished bronze (RBP). Dauby's Pure line was born from simple, raw models derived from Bauhaus. It is a creation of the beginnings of the avant-garde, a witness of the period when the term design was just beginning to develop.
In the PURE collection of door and furniture fittings, they gain a second life. Their clean lines are matched with natural materials such as white bronze and alloy. Each product is carefully cast in sand molds, using a traditional European method dating back to the times of the Tartessians, +/- 3000 BC. The first traders of foundry metals, such as bronze, silver and copper, came to us from the city of Tartessos in south-eastern Spain. The original sand casting method is still used to produce each item in the PURE collection. This gives the PURE line an authentic and, above all, timeless character, which distances it from mass products of everyday use. Each item is made by a craftsman with passion for his craft and over time it acquires a natural, more and more beautiful patina. The older it is, the more valuable the appearance of the product will be.
