Matt Gun Metal PVDThis project is the result of a joint collaboration between Fantini and Salvatori, which was created a long time ago.
The new collection takes its name from the town of white sand in Sicily, near Syracuse, the so-called due to the numerous natural freshwater fountains gushing into the sea.
The project was created as a result of research on archetypal forms translated into pure geometry and reinterpreted in a contemporary style.
A metaphor for the relationship between the psyche and the material, a dialogue between the circle and a square pattern runs through the entire collection: the washbasin is a square marble block from which a hemisphere has been extracted; the hemisphere becomes a rectangular bowl, slender as a sheet, the rays of the sphere become taps.
The richness of materials, marble and stone in the case of washbasins and the brown-metal finish of the taps, embellishes the whole with the purity of the forms.
The design confirms the common the companies' passion for excellence and the desire to combine creativity with technology.
Salvatori's famous ability to transform stone into beautiful textures and objects harmonizes perfectly with Fantini's knowledge and experience of craftsmanship, resulting in Fontane Bianche, a natural and stunning combination of stone and water.
