The design of Kos' new SIDD freestanding bathtub begins with a search for stylistic and formal balance, borrowing from the harmony of traditional aesthetics to achieve a contemporary, refined synthesis. Its flowing, sinuous lines create a welcoming washbasin shaped to fit the contours of the body and encourage relaxation. Its volume is spacious and comfortable, and its dynamic continuity with the base, which slightly tapers, makes the washbasin look longer. The reduced thickness and softness of symmetrically designed curves combine lightness with the elegance of design, while the solid surface material gives surfaces a matte effect and a tactile, silky feel.
