Product description

Plinio is a modern concept of a high-profile washbasin that highlights the special structure of the Carrara material. Suitable for both private bathrooms and accommodation facilities with an elegant and refined design.
It is supplied with a click-clack drain without overflow with a cover made of the same material as the washbasin, and its dimensions can be adjusted on request . The available materials are all marbles from the Apuan area: Bianco Statuario, Calacatta, Bardiglio, Bianco Michelangelo. The collection takes its name from the place where the material is mined. Versilia Apuan (Apuan Alps-Tuscany) is a well-known basin where, among others, the famous white Carrara marble and Bardiglio marble are mined. The former, much more plastic and workable, used since Roman times, was and still is the undisputed hero of the most important sculptural works in the history of mankind, but also of the most prestigious public and private buildings. Classified into different types depending on their origin and veins, it is considered marble par excellence due to its crystalline structure. Bardiglio, on the other hand, is a marble with a more compact structure and less useful in sculptural work, but endowed with extraordinary beauty due to its special veins and a gray background with shades towards dark blue. In architecture, this noble marble is used primarily for floors, coverings and decorations of sacred places, often in combination with classic white Carrara marble. Recently, it has been used in interior design projects due to its high aesthetic value.
