At Cersaie 2021, Antoniolupi will present Anima Liquida by Giorgio Rava. A free-standing sink made of natural stone that restores water to its original value. Stone and water. These are the only elements that make up Anima Liquida, the new free-standing Antoniolupi sink signed by Giorgio Rava, presented at Cersaie 2021. A sink in the form of a sculpture made entirely of natural stone, where even the traditional tap disappears, becoming a cylindrical stone order. A progressive and silent function that restores all its original power to the water. The result is a stone column referring to the archetype of a baptismal font.
A project aimed primarily at stimulating reflection on life and the relationship between man and water. To restore the daily bathing ritual to its ancient value and thus rediscover the connection with our most authentic side.
With Anima Liquida, a new chapter opens in Antoniolupi's material research. After re-inventing marble and cork and developing new materials such as Flumood, Cristalmood and Colormood, Antoniolupi designs another sink in natural stone.
A choice confirming that the Tuscan company has an unstoppable tendency to experiment. But also a confirmation of Antoniolupi's care for the environment. The Anima Liquida sink is made entirely of Ceppo di Grè, a resistant and durable gray stone typical of Lombard architecture.
