Ricordi is a bed that combines comfort with strong aesthetic values, characterized by advanced and at the same time minimalist design solutions.
The headboard design is inspired by sheets hung to dry in the wind: two vertical elements ending in a semi-rigid - round recess, in which houses a horizontal cylindrical rod on which an upholstered quilt is "suspended" forming two large pillows.
The rod is held in place by the tension of the fabric wrapped around the frame. The result is a soft, undulating headrest that can be covered in leather or fabric, both of which are removable.
Rear legs made of natural or black stained oak are attached to the bed frame using mechanical joints. The stringers and footrest are upholstered and padded, just like the headrest. The front legs, made of steel and mounted between the footrest and the side members, reflect the cylindrical shape of the central bar and are covered with a matte black coating. The base is made of steel, with bent beech slats covered with transparent varnish (width 6.8 cm).
