Product description

Shiko is a bed designed by E-ggs for Miniforms.
A few years have passed since the first Shiko appeared, but the essence remains the same. The outline of the bed frame refers to the traditional Japanese tatami, but raised on four shiny legs, thus softening its static appearance and giving it a characteristic shape.
The name evolved along with the changing headboard: square in the Wonder version, plump in the Magnum version. In the case of the Shiko Wien, the headrest was lowered for the first time, letting in the light: in this way the Shiko ritual passes into the siesta time, removing its strength in favor of a feeling of weightlessness and nature.
Vienna Straw combined with solid ash, both light and and durable, they create a light and airy, yet playful environment, interacting with the surrounding atmosphere in a play of shading and occluding effects filtered through the distinctive headrest.
