Originally designed in 1968 by Shiro Kuramata, the Steel Pipe beverage cart is still strikingly contemporary, reflecting research in which form and function are immediately apparent, but contrast with the renowned designer's refined aesthetic, which here is a clear reference to curves Sofas With Armrests.
Thanks to several decades of cooperation with Shiro Kuramata - after passing through the foundation of the same name, which deals with the continuation of philological studies on countless projects of the artist/designer - in 2014, a surprisingly simple and intuitive new object was born: a stroller wheels with a frame made of iron pipes painted with matt black epoxy powder and shelves in white laminate, with matt black trolleys and wheels made of gray plastic, suitable for delicate surfaces. This iconic design is available in shades that most characterize the designer's work.
