Product description

Robot is a chest of drawers, referring to its original design, designed by architect Mario Botta in 1989. On the occasion of the Milan Salone del Mobile 2023, it returns as part of the Alias collection. Characterized by stacking drawers connected to each other by a metal supporting structure, Robot looks like a column. Its upper part can be opened and used as a desk. With solid ash wood with a colored stained finish and a black lacquered steel structure, Robot represents the idea of an object that does not have a predetermined shape corresponding to a sequence of drawers on top of each other. It can take on different shapes after removing some or all of the drawers in different combinations thanks to a clever play of layouts.
