Product description
Living system Dress code has the ambitious goal of industrializing the world of custom design, focusing not only on individual products, but on the entire space as one coherent concept. For this reason, the experience and ten-year collaboration with the architect and designer Luca Gangemi was of fundamental importance. With him, we studied in detail the different interpretations and needs of the world of design projects, adapting them to our typical production techniques, giving rise to a project that aimed to create a collection that would fill a market gap in the world of custom design and that would allow us to design complete walls from floor to ceiling and integrate permanent industrial elements with elements typical of non-standard joinery. All to optimize time, quality and costs.

Material:
The search for quality begins with the study and implementation of our designs. TAMMEL is a material of our invention, which is a combination of two words: TAM (Italian for honeycomb) and MEL (Italian for melamine). Honeycomb plywood consists of a frame of solid and carefully selected fir wood and an internal bubble structure. Everything is covered with MDF boards in Royal, Alpha or Grafis finish. Tammel guarantees no deformation over time, lightness, practicality and meets all the requirements of European Class 1 regulations regarding the reduction of harmful formaldehyde emissions and is compliant with CARB2 regulations. We use this material to create lacquered and wooden bases, hats, shelves and doors from the Dress Code collection. The sides and back are instead made of low-formaldehyde "E1" melamine. It is also compliant with CARB2 standards.
