Product description
Hanne Willmann has always been associated with the Bauhaus, most recently through teaching in Dessau and now through the S4 showcase she created for Tecta. To plan the new S4 site, Hanne Willmann visited the company headquarters in Lauenförde several times and was inspired by the history and production of the original Bauhaus editions.
That the S4 site should cite the floating moment of the famous cantilever chairs was just one of the guiding ideas that distinguish this furniture. What is surprising is the storage compartment that is located in the upper part and seems to float on transparent glass shelves, lacquered in black. The body itself is made of wood and optionally equipped with foldable surfaces, doors or drawers, offering invisible storage space.
