Product description

Chicago is a wood and glass sideboard with flap doors and integrated lighting, designed by Norm Architects. Available in various sizes. Inspired by modernist architecture and the seamless, repetitive construction techniques of the mid-century, the Chicago cabinetry collection pays homage to this particular architectural period. Thanks to its light and floating appearance, the sideboard itself almost feels like a piece of modern architecture. The elevated solid steel structure provides stability and structure, while the floating wooden exterior adds a sense of spaciousness. The tabletop, which serves as a floating roof with an extended eaves, complements the minimalist structure combining three simple, natural materials; wood, steel and stone.
MATERIALS
- Sideboard made of MDF board veneered with natural oak or walnut or E1 board (low formaldehyde) with 1 mm thick solid wood edges. Simple and polished MarbleTop countertop. Thermally painted steel structure. Glass or wooden doors.
- Italiana Ferramenta fittings
- Hafele LED system. The interior lighting can be turned on/off by opening/closing one door OR by turning it on with your foot from the bottom of the metal frame of the sideboard.
- Transformer 12V/40W
- Samsung LED strip 12V/4.8W
- Possibility of electrical sockets for: EU, UK, USA, JP, CH, KS, AUS
