Like the hard metal plates that identify samurai armor, the scales on this specimen's skin define its appearance. The dynamic shape, taking on the suggestive power of Art Deco furniture, plays with the essentialism of the ellipse and modular repetition, balancing between minimalism and wonder. The secretary with a natural oak frame covered with De Castelli metal opens unexpectedly: it contains a spacious drawer, two more, and on the sides there are rounded doors.
