Bernois is a model of a modern sideboard, focused on volumetric and formal simplicity, enriched by the refinement of a number of small stylistic variations. Roberto Paoli's design is based on the perceptual effects generated by the slightly convex pattern of the door: a sequence of vertical "folds" that create an iridescent play of chiaroscuro. The appearance of the furniture changes depending on the light and the observer's point of view, in accordance with an aesthetic concept that interprets the dynamic style of modern life.
