Product description

The Stac family of containers was born from the concept of offering different types of furniture with different functions, not by changing the size, but by stacking the elements. Each module is actually made of a monolithic wooden block, supported by a thin sheet of metal that can be inserted into the module below, creating an open chamber and allowing stacking. There are two varieties - one horizontal, the other vertical - each of which can be mounted with modules of two different heights. The possibility of purchasing a single element or combining several elements by stacking them creates various types: a small, low container can function independently or, after adding another module, transform into a sideboard equipped with a mobile bar, an RTV console can become a sideboard with drawers.
The materials used, wood and iron, were used in an attempt to minimize the visual effect as much as possible; so the 3 mm thick sheet metal used side by side guarantees support, suspending the wood in an almost magical balance. The wooden block is characterized by 45-degree angles that increase the continuity of the wood veining. The goal of production was to reduce and standardize components in order to optimize processes. Even the bent sheet metal, in addition to avoiding welds, is consistent with the joints between the elements of the wooden shell. The autonomy of the various modules is a huge advantage because it allows the furniture to be shipped ready for assembly, without taking up too much space.
