Product description
Hypóstila is a shelf offering endless possibilities. It is constructed of extruded aluminum profiles, and the various elements are connected together using elements that operate on the principle of expansion. The shelves have no holes, so they can be placed in any position. Bd has always been particularly interested in shelving - that auxiliary equipment that helps keep things tidy - and aluminum. The Hypóstila rack was designed in 1979 by Lluís Clotet and Óscar Tusquets, on the advice of engineer Jesús Jiménez, in such a way that it could carry heavy loads using minimal cross-sections and achieve an infinite number of sizes and arrangements. In 1995, a new shelf model was produced, this time based on pipes, based on the idea of Enrico Miralles. Hypóstila consists of single vertical wall-mounting posts made of matt anodized aluminum, 2, 3 or 4 m high. Shelves in extruded and anodized aluminum in matt silver. HYP I flat shelf, 15.5 cm or 25 cm deep, optionally with gray plastic side covers and HYP II tubular shelf, 15.5 cm deep. The shelves can be cut to size and their corners rounded. Tools for attaching profiles to a white zinc-coated iron wall. Foot made of matt, anodized die-cast aluminum. Hypóstila II shelves can be combined with Hypóstila I shelves.
