String® Pocket is sold as a complete shelf, but is as flexible as the String® system. String® Pocket encourages creativity and personality by allowing two or three String® Pockets to be combined into one larger shelf. Mix and match different colors and wood alternatives to suit your style and preferences. Because the shelf is neat and practical, it fits equally well as a bedside table or as an additional shelf in the hall. String® Pocket is sold as one complete unit containing two 50 cm high wire panels and three 58 cm wide and 15 cm deep shelves. Designed by Nisse Strinning in 2005, the String® Pocket became its latest contribution to the Scandinavian design portfolio. Unlike the String® shelving system, the String® Pocket is delivered as a complete package. The One Pocket shelf consists of two wall-hung panels and three shelves in various color options. We offer everything from monochromatic alternatives in gray, mustard and more, to combinations with walnut, ash or oak shelves.
2020 saw the launch of the first interpretation of the original String® Pocket design, designed by Anna von Schewen and Björn Dahlstrom. They kept the essence of the project because, as they said, why change the winning concept? But why not try new material? The result is a completely new version of the String® Pocket, made entirely of metal. It is available in three colors: neon, taupe and white. Thanks to the perforated shelves, you have the opportunity to add accessories such as rods and hooks, in the blink of an eye you will expand your storage space and make your small Pocket shelf even more useful.
String® Pocket got its name because of its convenience and handiness size. With a height of 50 cm, a width of 60 cm and a depth of 15 cm, you will be able to fit the String® Pocket anywhere. Mount it in the bedroom and use it as a bedside table, place it above a cabinet in the hall or living room, or mount it in the kitchen for cookbooks and spices. We know we said one Pocket shelf is complete, but that doesn't stop us from having fun with it just like we would with a shelving system. With two or three packages, you can create creative solutions where the choice of design and color is entirely up to you. A minimalist, monochromatic design or a splash of color with a mix of mustard, pink and white? As you can imagine, the possibilities are endless!
