perfect balance of form and function, this desk designed by Achille Castiglioni is a contemporary classic for the home office. Two side shelves, a footrest and slightly rounded corners were created for precise, functional use. The lines are intentionally straight, allowing Scrittarello to be easily used in a variety of settings.
Materials:
BASE: Solid natural beech wood or charcoal-colored aniline ash, both finished with clear water-based paint or solvent based coating. Tie rods and lower bar in powder-coated steel, aluminum or black, with thermoplastic footrest.
TOP AND SIDE SHELVES: birch plywood (class E1, CARB P2 / TSCA Title VI certified), covered with white HPL laminate or veneered with wood ash stained with charcoal aniline, finished with a water- or solvent-based transparent coating.
