surprising organic form of the arrangement, a container furniture system designed for Alias by Michele De Lucchi, a new project was created ensuring unprecedented ease of use.
In the best tradition of Alias designs, which have always embodied innovative concepts in novel forms, using in unconventional ways materials used in other production sectors, the new furniture system is the result of an original search for new expressive languages for well-known materials such as extruded aluminum .
The layout's modular system features new extruded aluminum components that are anchored to the oval base and top form and provide a supporting structure for mounting doors and shelves.
The result is a writing desk, a clean, elemental shape that houses a writing board and two supporting shelves attached directly to the door. With a simple gesture, this abstract piece of furniture opens like a flower, revealing the workstation inside, thus becoming the quintessence of architecture in the architecture of the room. The secrétaire layout is equipped with wheels that allow it to be easily moved from one zone to another, and dust seals to protect its interior.
Constant cooperation with Michele De Lucchi resulted in the development of a new, elegant and innovative design that responds to the requirements of modern work spaces.
