MANHATTAN is a low wooden coffee table designed by Roderick Vos for Linteloo.
Body: textured layer of 5 mm thick smoked solid oak on birch plywood. Treated with linseed oil.
Origin: handmade in Italy.
The MANHATTAN coffee table by Dutch designer Roderick Vos opposes the "traditional" typology of tables with a composition of wooden blocks and voids, inspired by Piet Mondriaan and the Russian Constructivism. This low oak table is beautiful and impressive, and in fact extremely practical. MANHATTAN embodies the well-known phrase: a place for everything and everything in its place. Natural cracks, knots and color differences in the wood add to its solidity.
