Virgil Abloh and Cassina design a project exploring the implications of modularity in contemporary interior design. Blocks in two sizes that can stand alone or can be combined to create designer accessories, from the seat to the table top. Design ottomans, benches or coffee tables. Modular Imagination conveys the theme of modularity - an invitation to play with your imagination to create new home landscapes and functions. A design combining the inspiration and originality of Abloh with the quality and manufacturing expertise of Cassina.
Modular Imagination draws inspiration from the design values of great masters such as Le Corbusier, while engaging with key themes of contemporary design such as sustainability. The blocks, made of matte black plant-based polymer and recycled wood, can be completely dismantled for recycling after use.

STRUCTURE
Made from recycled wood.

LINING
Made of polyurethane with polyols of biological origin with organic content, covered with painted elastomer.

FEET
Hytrel orange color, with threaded steel inserts.
