Product description

Elliptical tables with a surface cut into an "eccentric" inclined base. In white Carrara marble, gray Carnic marble, black Marqunia marble, green Alpi marble or dark Emperador marble. All Agapecasa products are designed and manufactured for internal use. They cannot be placed outdoors unless otherwise noted. Another table made entirely of marble continuing the experiments with gravity joints: this time with a special elliptical top set asymmetrically in an inclined cylindrical leg that blocks any vertical movement by friction and eccentricity, using its own weight to press down and completely close the open joint. The Eccentrico table, a true structural monument, made Angelo Mangiarotti one of the greatest furniture "designers" of the 20th century, just like Franco Albini with his Veliero bookcase and Carlo Mollino with the Cremona table: designs that, through an extreme approach to design, reached previously unattainable theoretical limits.
