In girum is a nomadic terracotta table designed by Finemateria and made in the historic ceramic district of Nove, in the province of Vicenza (Italy). Produced in a limited edition of forty-five pieces, In girum is a legacy in the form of furniture of investigation that the Milanese duo of Gianluca Sigismondi and Stefano Bassan led around the bed from 2022 to 2023, creating a political and artistic platform, an extension of the person and a performative space. The result of this investigation, described in the second issue of In Itinere magazine published by Bolzan, is the installation Bedtime Stories. In girum iumus nocte, for which Finemateria reached out to workers from Nove, famous all over the world for processing clay in molds and hand finishing. In girum is named after the installation from which it comes and is a universal piece of furniture, perfect as a bedside table or side table, perfect for both the living room and the bedroom.
