Like his Wassily chair, Marcel Breuer's Laccio tables play a key role in the history of 20th century design. Breuer's use of steel tubing to define lines in space, beautifully depicted in these simple nesting tables, revolutionized furniture design and inspired many subsequent generations of designers. FEATURES As a Bauhaus student in 1925, Marcel Breuer invented the low a table to complement the Wassily chair, the first steel tube structure based on a tubular bicycle frame. The KnollStudio logo and Marcel Breuer's signature are embossed on the base of the tables. CONSTRUCTION The table top has a satin finish, smooth plastic laminate or marble. The frame and legs are made of seamless tubular steel in the finish polished chrome. FINISHES Polished chrome base. Three countertop laminate colors: white, black and red. Countertops also available in a wide range of marbles.
