Product description

During his stay at the Bauhaus, Marcel Breuer experimented with steel and steel pipes, logically transferring the principles of using materials corresponding to their properties for the production of woodworking furniture to this new material. The great advantage of this process was the proximity of the Junkers plant in Dessau. His first projects included the B 9 nesting tables, various shelves and side furniture. The Thonet catalog from 1930/31 contained the full offer. B 9 nesting tables were used in the canteen of Walter Gropius' Bauhaus building in Dessau. Today, these elegant tables find their place in residential or contract environments.
