Product description
Birch plywood tables available in natural, brown or dark oak finishes and in various shapes and heights. Tables with special sizes and finishes are also available. All Agapecasa products are designed and manufactured for internal use. They cannot be placed outdoors unless otherwise noted. Tables made of thin layers of plywood, whose curved shapes make them stiffer, giving strength and stability to a very simple structure that is made lighter and more streamlined thanks to tapered legs.
A structural system that was initially planned to be dismantled to also create stools, benches and beds, a striking design that in the mid-1950s won the praise of the great Alvar Aalto, a design that still looks outstanding in its task for its non-obvious kind of simplicity, with for the quality of its simultaneously simple and elegant features and for its compositional precision, structural clarity and clever balance of defining proportions.
