Product description

sculpture that pays homage to the charismatic and casual style of Memphis. Bold is a table with bold shapes and XL dimensions designed by Studiopepe. The tabletop is characterized by an oversized profile and an irregular outline, while three basic geometries emerge from it (rectangle, circle and triangle), creating a dynamic visual game, as each of them emerges at a different level. These elementary shapes are actually the legs that appear on the surface and run through them. Despite its large dimensions, Bold connects the space, creating smooth and elegant transitions.
Discovering new combinations is a constant element of Chiara and Arianna's works, therefore combining various materials is another characteristic feature of this project. Without a doubt, a technical challenge for Sancal, where experiment and industry meet once again. Bold is available in a variety of materials and finishes. On the one hand, we have the two-color version, in which you can choose one shade of the legs and a second top, either with MDF, ash veneer, or with the unique vintage veneer from the Designer Edition. Single-color options are also available, available in high-gloss Lima or Tabaco paints, or any color from the ultra-matte range.
The single-color options highlight the sculptural side of the Bold, while the Designer's Edition is undoubtedly the most iconic. In this version, the Milanese studio recalls the recent past of Italian design, paying tribute to the Memphis group, one of the most irreverent artistic movements of the second half of the 20th century.
