CONVERSE is a dining table in veneered wood, designed by Faas van Dijk for Linteloo.
Top and legs: 2 mm thick brushed oak veneer, stained dark brown and protected with a transparent, matte varnish.
Origin: handmade in Italy.
Converse = engage in conversation. Indeed, the late great Faas van Dijk loved to sit at the table and talk for hours, preferably over a glass of wine and good food. No wonder this Faas project is called CONVERSE. Because it encourages you to do just that. Even when no one is sitting around it, CONVERSE is a "conversation piece" - its asymmetric top and gorgeous tapered base are unique.
