suggestive retro style defines the CARYLLON tables designed by Cristina Celestino.
The leitmotif of the collection is a wooden structure with a square cross-section that harmoniously contrasts with a rich decorative surface finish inspired by straw marquetry, a refined marquetry technique created with straw strips dyed in a characteristic Art color Deco.
CARYLLON pays tribute to the expressive power of inlays with a contemporary look, highlighting the perfect alchemy between GTV's manufacturing knowledge and material research, which is a hallmark of Cristina Celestino's signature design. A strong reference to the secular history of the Gebrüder Thonet Vienna company, whose founder Michael Thonet was born as a carpenter. In a harmonious combination of polychrome proportions, the intense palette chosen for the surface levels is combined with a solid lacquered perimeter, as the contour of the bases constitutes another specific feature of this collection with a unique character, conceptualized in a rectangular dining table and an original low version, in the shape of a flower in front of the sofa, available in two heights.
