Product description

The Saen is an inverted cup that rests most of its weight directly on the floor, eliminating the need for a low center of gravity. The base is made of compact, rigid polyurethane, a material with high performance parameters and advanced technical and aesthetic properties. This technopolymer actually makes it possible to obtain a perfectly clean and even surface, while maintaining the concrete silhouette of the original design. On a leg finished with structural paint there are tops of various shapes in MDF or lacquered wood in various finishes.
Designed as a dining table, for a contemporary home environment or for contract use, saen is available with round top diameter 140, 160 or 180 cm.
Lightness and heaviness combine into an impressive stylistic oxymoron thanks to the results of technological research that enable Alias to create objects with a sculptural soul.
Gabriele and Oscar Buratti present the table for Alias with a central leg, combining the elegance of design with refined materials. The result is saen, a family of tables with an impressive base. Its fluid, continuous and soft structure allows this table to transform into a slender, willow stem, creating a strong contrast of shapes.
