Designed to furnish a large dining room or a refined conference room, Memo is characterized by the contrast between deliberately oversized volumes and the minimalist discretion that is synonymous with Piero Lissoni, who has been Lema's artistic director since 1995. Completely devoid of ostentation, Memo achieves the perfect balance thanks to the symmetry between the table top - available in heat-treated oak or volcanic stone, with an exclusive Lema finish created in a meticulous hand process - and the metal structure with a bold, industrial-inspired design. Much of the aesthetic research behind this work focused on materials and their expressive possibilities, while trying to avoid any artifice.
