Inaugurating the De Padova table collection in 1987, Vidun is still one of the most famous, recognizable and admired designs by Vico Magistretti. A masterpiece composed of interwoven elements that brings to mind "vidun", which in the Milanese dialect means a large screw. It is made of natural white or black beech wood in coordinated shades - purple with turquoise and green, red with yellow and duckbill orange. — or black walnut. The carved and perfectionist glass top reveals the base. “Conceptual details always catch people's attention,” said Vico Magistretti.
Materials:
BASE: Solid Canaletto walnut, finished with a water- or solvent-based transparent coating. Or in solid natural beech wood finished with a transparent water-based or solvent-based coating (white or black) or aniline-dyed (purple-turquoise-green or red-yellow-yellow beak), finished with a transparent water-based or solvent-based coating.
