Product description

The Materic table, designed by Piero Lissoni, is a sculptural object in which the absolute simplicity of the design is combined with the sophistication of materials and workmanship. Materic has a round and tapered top, placed on a base in the shape of a rotated truncated cone. The tabletop is made of marble, available in 6 delicate shades, from verde rameggiato to the more traditional white Carrara marble. The table top may also have a rotating tray in the center. The base consists of 12 black-stained solid ash boards, which are turned and finger-jointed together to obtain a perfect cut cone with a distinct wood grain. The table is available in two top sizes, dia. 1600 mm and dia. 1800 mm, both fixed and with rotating central disc; Thanks to its large size, it provides maximum comfort for 6 or 8 people sitting at the table. The marble top, matte or glossy, is available in one of the following finishes: Carrara white, Valentine gray, Sahara noir, verde rameggiato, covelano Fantastico
and calacatta oro. The rotating tray in the center is perfectly flush with the countertop and was cut from the same marble slab thanks to the precision of water-jet technology. The use of the same board and co-planarity ensure spectacular uniformity of the upper surface and texture.

A new, honest variation of the Materic table in 2018, with a base in natural sandblasted ash and a top in calacatta oro marble: the keyword is design consisting of memory and craft values, whose classic and modern elements confront each other in harmony.
