Product description
The originality and quality of the legs are the unique features of the Riddled table, which incorporates the concept of porosity found in many of Steven Holl's architectural works. Thin sheets of wood, assembled using laser engraving, make this design even more spectacular in its apparent defiance of the laws of physics. These two legs, resembling origami sculptures, allow internal light to flow through, creating countless lights and shadows. Extremely transparent tempered glass top with polished edge, 12 mm thick. The legs are made of a material designed and patented by Horm.it, consisting of a sandwich of wood and fabric with a thickness of 2.2 mm, which, thanks to a series of superficial cuts made with a laser cutter, can be folded like origami. Stainless steel plates with a diameter of 30 mm and a height of 10 mm are attached with M6x18 screws to a triangular frame made of solid wood and attached with UV glue to the glass top. The legs are attached to the frame using pins with galvanized threads and a flat tip. Optional LED system with rechargeable batteries (battery life 6 hours) on the inside of the legs. FINISH Legs: walnut Table top: tempered glass
