Product description

Delfi is part of the Ultrarazionale collection, which was launched in 1968 and consists of sculptural pieces designed by Carlo Scarpa, characterized by his characteristic attention to detail and choice of materials. This table is a redesign of the rationalist model created by Marcel Breuer in the 1930s for Dino Gavina's residence in Bologna. In the late 1960s, Scarpa began to re-examine the original concept, introducing some changes in consultation with the designer. In 2009, Tobia Scarpa, son of Carlo Scarpa, proposed another variation: this time a glass top to highlight the elegant brass brackets and grooves on the marble bases to better perceive the formal elegance of the furniture.
