Product description
The Torii table designed by Marconato & Zappa clearly shows its exotic inspiration: the slightly tilted metal elements that make up the base resemble the entrances to the Japanese Shinto temples from which the table takes its name. The Torii ST (swivel top) version with a swivel top catches the eye thanks to its large round upper surface, which is characterized by an interesting interplay of materials and which connects the outer wooden frame with the rotating central ceramic part. The result is a contrast of materials and table finishes with a distinctly theatrical presence. Swivel internal top finish Matte ceramics: Ardesia grey, Laurent Glossy ceramics: Calacatta, Black Onyx, Imperial grey, mountain peak, red imperial Ceramic finish: Calacatta macchia vecchia External finish Veneered wood: Canaletto walnut, charcoal brushed oak Basic finish Metal Plus: bronze, lead Finish of the base Metal: in the same finish as the base Ceramics: in the same finish as the topInspired by the architecture of traditional Japanese Shinto temples, which give rise to the name "Torii Table", it is distinguished by the "tectonic" values of the base, composed made of two slightly inclined metal elements. The elegant design is complemented by a rigorous top available in wood, ceramics or marble. The formal values of the Marconato & Zappa design are clearly visible in the version offering a single material finish for both the top and the decorative leg inserts.
