The Poh bench, designed by Raphael Navot, can also be used as a low table and consists of a mosaic of wooden elements covered with solid, natural American walnut.
Each Poh bench is a unique item, sold in a numbered edition: in fact, the blocks of wood are hand-assembled in the usual way and then cut by a machine numerically, according to a model digitally generated by a computer.
Table, bench and true sculpture: this piece was deliberately left without a precise definition in order to turn the assumption of "form follows function" on its head into "function follows form".
