Product description

bench made of veneered plywood from the Mobili Sintetici collection. The basics of carpentry include mechanical and manual woodworking, usually in board format, where the simplest and basic processes are straight and diagonal right-angle cuts, veneering, and surface and edge finishing. The combination of this basic material format and the desire to create objects with character through extremely simple
common joinery are the components of Mobili Sintetici. Deciding to simplify production to a few elementary processes, we worked on the shape of the object, trying to give it a decorative and characteristic value through its volume. Large volumes are an opportunity to appreciate joinery through the precision of surface and edge details, making them the most decorative aspect of the object. The objects refer to robotic ideas
with unclear anthropomorphic features. They do not appear to come from traditional production, but rather are the result of a synthesis process carried out in the workshop.
The volumes are interconnected and assembled with extraordinary precision and form the basis of the various forms that make up the entire collection.
The veneered plywood panels are divided into multiple modular sizes and pieces, with the edges connected together by 45° diagonal slices. Many modular pieces of wood with perfect geometric shapes are the components of Mobili Sintetici.
