Every constructive detail of Tessa is a clue to the great complexity behind her apparent simplicity. The kind of simplicity that results from the ingenuity and handcrafting inherent in the concept of the product itself.
The structure is made entirely of solid ash or turned Canaletto walnut. Traditional joinery requires expert craftsmanship and delicately highlights the natural texture and feel of the wood. The delicate but strong woven paper cord on the seat and backrest, an ancient art derived from Italian rural tradition, is also carefully handcrafted.
The Tessa family includes an armchair, ottoman, coffee table and coffee table with a marble top, available in many types of marble.
