The BENCH designed by Konstantin Grcic impresses with its seat and side panels made of oiled solid wood, specially made of spruce. Wooden elements are connected together using an intelligent quick assembly system. Invisible pin connections are used, which enable assembly and disassembly without the use of tools. The SBENCH and BENCH table are connected using an invisible pin connection that does not require tools for assembly and disassembly. The starting point was a simple wooden beam. (Konstantin Grcic, 2022) aGrcic developed the BENCH project together with Plank, exploring an ingenious mechanism that allows the bench to be assembled and disassembled without tools, so it can be transported flat-packed or stored compactly.
