Product description

The cast bronze sculpture is made using Japanese casting techniques, in which the materials are characterized by good workability. Bronze is melted at a temperature of 1200-1300°C and poured into a sand mold to cool naturally. When the temperature drops and the bronze hardens, the sand mold is broken with a hammer and the metal casting is removed for fine polishing. The entire process is done by hand.
The bronze oxidizes, darkens and snows, changing its characteristics over time. The product reflects the feeling of finding beauty and value in the ephemeral nature of everything that is subject to decay and transience. The sculpture not only serves as a table or stool, but also stands out as an independent object, or rather a work of art.
