Both elements are inspired by the mountains. While the latter takes its name from the milking stool used by Alpine shepherds, the former is inspired by the French village beloved of designer and architect Charlotte Perriand. These furniture accessories are distinguished by the simplicity of their simple shapes and the specific expression of materials and functions. The turned seat is combined with stylized legs in both the Tabouret Berger, a lower version with three legs in hand-turned solid wood, and the taller Tabouret Méribel, which has three angular legs. Produced by Cassina through meticulous craftsmanship that respects the authenticity of the original design, these small masterpieces can be used alone or in creative compositions. The use of solid wood communicates a pleasant sense of softness and we see the continuity of the grain from the seat to the edges, and nature creates a unique pattern on each of them.
Placed individually or in lively arrangements, two low tables bring the pleasant lightness of solid wood to interiors, highlighted by the continuity of the grain between the top and the edges and the countless natural differences in the wood.
