TULIPANI is a plywood chair with solid wood legs designed by Roderick Vos for Linteloo.
Seat: steam bent plywood (birch or walnut)
Legs: solid birch or solid walnut.
Finish: birch - spray painted white (RAL9010); Walnut - natural, protected with matte varnish.
Special features: Optional upholstered filling. The chair can be spray painted in all RAL colors. The chair is equipped with nylon glides. Other gliders available on request.
Origin: handmade in Italy.
Its silhouette is the Dutch floral icon reduced to a simple outline. Its name is a nod to the love for Italian design. When Roderick Vos designed TULIPS, he combined the best of both nations. A single sheet of steam-bent plywood – “bare” or padded according to your preference – rests on an intricate wooden base: turn the TULIPS upside down and you will see the beauty of the structure. In fact, you may be tempted to leave it at that, resting on the table with your feet up and waiting for the next caregiver.
