Coinciding with Maison&Objet 2022, Alki, in collaboration with Studio Iratoki&Lizaso, launches a new collection of chairs, giving life to the Pottolo collection.
“Our intention was to deliberately move away from a slim shape, to initially suggest a look that embraces a feeling of well-being. From the seat itself to the chair backrest and the position of the armrests - user comfort was the focus. – Iratzoki & Lizaso
The chair is characterized by comfortable curves and a well-defined bend. Particularly careful upholstery work is done by hand. Seams connecting different parts of the back give the silhouette a cinched waist that is eye-catching and attractive at the same time. However, the solid oak structure combined with upholstered elements demonstrates the two most important skills of the Cooperative.
The Pottolo collection, thanks to its swivel version, will also work well in the work environment. This model with a slightly tilted back brings its elegant softness and comfort to the office. The Pottolo collection, exhibited for the first time in Paris during the Maison&Object fair, will soon include an armchair and a stool.
