Product description

Seat for indoor use with a structure made of natural poplar plywood in natural, brown or dark oak. Two versions with or without armrests. Seat and backrest padded with cotton cushions, available in six different colors. It is possible to personalize the upholstery with fabrics selected by the customer.
All Agapecasa products are designed and manufactured for interior use. They cannot be placed outdoors unless otherwise noted. Originally designed in 1957 for the renovated Club 44 in La Chauxde-Fonds, Switzerland, this is a decidedly architectural armchair, still strikingly individual and completely functional. Fully stable, surprisingly comfortable, austere but with character, its seat design is derived from the "Cavalletto" system, of which it is a perfect but more unusual continuation. Here, the classic inverted V pattern characteristic of the system becomes the profile of the leg at the top, on which the arm finds an ideal support point. The resulting overall profile adds a slim accent to this small piece of home furniture, making it even more elegant, angular and serious: in a word, distilled by over fifty years of sedimentation, an absolute.
