DORIS is an ash chair with a paper mesh seat. The design is reduced to bare bones: four solid ash legs, turned and finished by hand, a single crescent-shaped piece that connects the backrest and armrests to the seat in hand-woven cord. The Doris chair combines all the advantages of solid wood: a warm, flexible material, sanded until smooth to the touch. In a fortuitous combination of form and function, the beauty of the Doris chair is impeccable from every angle, even from the back.
