A chair designed to be friendly, ergonomic and functional at the same time. With a solid ash structure and oak veneer in various finishes, it differs from the original seat by its front cover in natural leather, available in 3 colors: black, dark brown and natural. A significant extension of the beautification of the Laleggera collection.
The laleggera collection is an expression of research and technology at its maximum. The result of combining a solid, traditional material, such as solid wood, with the lightest, expanded polyurethane with a filled structure. Outer skin made of plywood or multi-layer cut veneer, available with transparent varnish or various varnish colors. In 2009, it became part of the resident collection at MoMA in New York. The Laleggera chair, awarded the "Compasso d'Oro" award in 1998, is an iconic work, presented at MoMA in New York, the Center George Pompidou in Paris and the Milan Triennial. A simple and essential symbol. This practical, durable stackable chair combines visual and structural lightness thanks to the material used to make the "gliders": injected wood with polyurethane foam.
