Fjord is a collection of pouffes with injected flame-retardant foam; the base is made of thermoformed, shock-absorbing black plastic (code 214-017-077).
Available in fabric or leather.
Sewing the pouffe: adjust to the side From a piece of shell that has been broken and smoothed by the waves , Patricia Urquiola has designed a collection of seats for both home and public spaces. As the name suggests, there is a strong Scandinavian influence here, with references to Arne Jacobsen and the bays of the northern coast shown in a long cross-section. Like the natural cycle in which the shell is reborn under the influence of time and water, the chair becomes an armchair and then a stool. Its broken form and abstract concept together become the subject of the design: the smooth lines that support and surround are emphasized with decorative stitching harmonizing with the essence of the chair's structure.
