Two-seater sofa with a solid wood structure (walnut/beech) from the MACARON collection. Padded seat and backrest. The MACARON collection, designed by Laura Silvestrini, meets the various needs of the contract sector. Elegant and cozy, it includes the following models: lounge chair, armchair, 2-seater sofa; large and chair.
Because it "combines Italian design with extraordinary levels of comfort", the collection won the Best Furniture category at the Cruise Ship Interiors Awards 2020, a prestigious international award recognizing and rewarding excellence in interior design in the cruise and yacht industry . The award recognizes Piaval's continuous research and ability to innovate by combining a culture of well-being, design, the choice of sustainable materials and production.
Refined and contemporary lines, comfort and extreme versatility make the Macaron collection easily adaptable to the context in every space. Thanks to its consolidated know-how in the health and care sector, in which the company has been operating for decades, Piaval uses useful solutions in its contract models to facilitate sanitization processes and prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria.
This guarantees maximum hygiene, resistance and durability, features that are now more important than ever in the cruise and contract sector.
Two perfectly calibrated volumes give the unique profile of MACARON. The first is the shell - padded, intimate and enveloping - supported at the base by a curved wooden profile that characterizes the aesthetics of the entire seat and marks the mark ending in the front legs. The second one consists of a seat in which the hind legs are inserted: its structure is a perfect circle on which a soft, round pillow rests. The precise overlapping of these two layers resembles the image of puff pastry from which the chair is named.
MACARON can be customized in a wide range of upholstery. The structure is made of solid beech or walnut wood.
